惊蛰到来，春耕伊始。田里的农民开始劳作，开启新一轮的播种。一声一声的春雷惊醒了蜇居的动物，给这个世界增添了点点生命力。
而在蒙特利尔，久久期盼的春天并未如约而至。冷风在空中肆意，层层白雪压住了迸发的春意，行人依旧冬装裹身。虽然大自然复苏的脚步拖慢了，但人们心中的对春天的期许还是止不住地往外冒。所幸近日的温度升至零度之上，春日总算不再是遥遥无期的。
CSSA将至三月二十号举办一年一度的“春分庙会”。传统集市迎合游子心境，把春天的祝愿带给每个人。种类繁多的民间小吃，带你回到家乡的那条小巷，回忆起童年时花几块钱就能买到的幸福；屹立在会场中间的许愿树，让你写下期许、祝福，并陪伴着你度过又一新年；各类庙会专有的小游戏，让你回归天真与无邪。当然，庙会现场还会有更多惊喜和小礼品与你们分享。
咱们庙会保证满足得了所有挑剔的吃货！
我们將有:
煎饼果子，羊肉串，热干面，肉夾饃，
烤年糕，红糖小汤圆，煎饺，珍珠奶茶
牛肉盖饭，糯米滋，卤肉饭等等，敬请期待。
开场还会有McGill Student Chinese Music Society (MSCMS) 的精彩演奏，有古筝二胡钢琴等乐器。
游戏的部份，我们将会有一系列的闯关游戏，从猜字谜到套圈圈，只要集齐八个印章就能兑换到免费的饭票和抽奖机会喔! 大家还在等什么!

Spring time is finally here!
Time to drop your heavy and ugly jackets and say hello to the warmer weather. All of a sudden, the sidewalk might be full of puddles because of the melted snow, but at least you can start hearing the birds chirp and seeing the leaves shoot. No more heavy boots and thick scarves, even though they made you look taller and prettier. It’s time to enjoy the sounds and smells of spring.
For first years, you have been living (continuously) away from home for almost a year. For upper years, you spent even more time was spent in this cold place. Maybe you miss how it was like at home, with all the markets, loud noises, and of course the loads of delicious food when the weather gets warmer. For others, you haven’t set foot in the middle kingdom in a while (or at all), but you’ve heard about all these stories from your parents and your friends (and I guess your Chinese teachers too?), all about those spring Temple Fairs: games, food, and a community gathering when it’s finally warm enough so that people won’t have to hide in their rooms (and skip class as it is at McGill 🙂 )
We are trying to recreate those scenes in this cold, barren land called McGill, where students post-midterm season are deprived of sleep, fun, and warmth, both physically and figuratively. Join us. Play games, eat food, listen to classic music played by McGill Student Chinese Music Society (MSCMS) using some traditional chinese instruments, bring your friends, help us make a spring Temple Fair possible at McGill, and allow us to share this great experience with everyone.
How does it work?
The official currency inside the temple fair is the "Market Coupon". You can use that to buy food, play premium games, or enter the lottery (with special prizes 😉 ).
Upon entering, you will be exchanging your ticket for the market coupons. And then you go in and you spend!
If you need more, look for the 2 execs that will be the currency converter basically: Canadian Dollars <-> Market Coupons. They will be good looking, and be dressed nice. You won't miss them/ 🙂
